The 14th of January, 2014 a team of 5 entrepreneurs (under the company name ‘Redshift Digital Marketing’) decided to bring their talents to MOBE as affiliate partners, and start promoting our products and live events.
They’ve been promoting for just a little over 9 months… and, have generated over $2,000,000 in commissions ($2,065,226 to be exact) since.
Averaged out, that’s just shy of $230,000 a month.
And just so there’s no misunderstandings, that’s commissions in their pocket (not gross sales).
After coming on board, they quickly stormed onto the scene at MOBE and were winning many of our monthly affiliate contests.
Within their first 4 months in the business, Redshift cracked the $1 Million Dollar mark, becoming the first official Million Dollar affiliate account.

So who is Redshift? Are they some large agency or publishing company?
Interestingly enough, Redshift is just a group of regular guys who have a passion for building home based businesses.
Although they go by their company name, they really are just like you and me, regular everyday people.
The following people form Redshift (left to right in image)…
Darren Salkeld: Darren has been marketing online over 12 years and is known as a front end marketing specialist. His engineering background has helped him design and develop some really high converting sales funnels and automated systems.
Mike Williams: Mike is a business management expert and keeps the Redshift boys on track so their creative minds keep laser focused on continual growth.
David Nayavich: Dave is a super-star when it comes to graphic and direct response layouts. Dave has been built his name in the industry by designing some of the best converting direct response sales pages and ads for many of the top Internet Marketing gurus.
Mike Antoni: Mike is one of the softest spoken people you will ever meet, but he sure has a way with words. Mike’s passion for writing has made him one of the premier copy-writers the Internet Marketing community has. Mike and Darren have been building businesses together since 2008 and have created several 7-figure automated systems together.
Jashin Howell: Jashin has been in the marketing industry for many years. He has a contact rolodex bigger than Holyywood. He always “has a guy for that.”
Jashin is a master connector and a paid traffic expert. Jashin and Darren met in 2006 and quickly formed a long lasting friendship, built some highest converting marketing systems together and ultimately brought Redshift together as a powerhouse marketing force.
So what’s their secret?
Well, observing how they run their business as an outsider, here’s a couple things noticed about them:
1.) Paid traffic.
If you have been following what is taught in MOBE for some time, you’ll know I’m much more of an advocate for paid traffic methods, than I am for free traffic methods.
As explained at some of our seminars, paid traffic is scalable. Paid traffic is fast. Paid traffic will get you valuable data much faster than free traffic can.
All of the biggest info-marketing business’s are built on the back of paid traffic – Agora, Boardroom, etc.
Free traffic is not really ‘free’ – it takes time, and time is money.
Besides, most who choose to do free traffic are usually doing it for the wrong reasons. They’re doing it out of fear of not wanting to ‘risk’ their money – and a desire to get something (sales) for nothing.
Redshift understand that to reach their targets and operate at a multiple 7 figure earning level / year, paid traffic is the only way to go.
They spend big, but they earn bigger.
That is how they have 6 figure months in commissions.
They’re able to continually split test their funnels, make adjustments, and optimize infinitely faster than if they were relying on SEO and other ‘free’ traffic methods.
2.) A solid core team of people, with each person bringing a certain strength and set of skills to the table.
When most of us start out as entrepreneurs, we have a vision of our future business and what it will look like.
Usually that vision is of ourselves, a laptop, and that’s about it.
That’s the appeal to starting an online business – you don’t need to have employees, right?
Well as you soon find out, leveraging other peoples strengths to compliment your weaknesses and spread the workload is a must.
Sure, you can scale a business to $10,000 / month and barely have to hire a single staff member if you want to.
But as MOBE scaled, it became a necessity to bring on a lot more talented people to help run the operation.
Redshift clearly get this. They have 5 smart leaders running the company, and quite a few other team members helping in other areas.
Redshift is aiming to break $10 million in commissions in MOBE – and once they reach that target, there is no doubt they’ll set their targets on $50 million and beyond.
